How to request a refund of your maternity benefit

If you received your maternity benefit as of 2014, you can request that your personal income tax be returned to you. The Supreme Court has determined that the public maternity benefits from Social Security, received by working women during the 16-week leave after the birth of a child, are exempt from personal income tax, contrary to the criteria that the Agency has up to now maintained Tax.
